About

Welcome! My name is Makenzi Dallas. My love for baseball and softball started at a young age, and I am passionately invested in giving back to the sports that helped shape me as a human. I was a 4-year starter on varsity at Pinnacle High School, and then earned scholarships to Phoenix College and University of Nebraska Kearney. I was a National Champion and National Runner-Up with Phoenix College (2012-14), and then continued my athletic and academic career at the University of Nebraska Kearney (NCAA DII), where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Student Affairs.

I began my coaching career at UNK as a graduate assistant. Then served as an assistant coach at Northeastern State University (OK), Delta State (MS), and Phoenix College before becoming the head coach at Ranger College (TX). I moved back home to AZ in 2021, and have been focused on developing youth baseball and softball players in the Phoenix area.

Having coached softball at the collegiate level for five years, I began to realize that there was a need for good instruction at the youth level. The sport of softball has boomed over the last few decades, and continues to grow in popularity year after year. In order to continue to grow the sport properly, my generation of coaches holds a responsibility to do our best to educate and lead the younger generation with updated research and knowledge of nutrition, training, time-management, academic success, biomechanics, recruiting, and more. I am committed to growing the sport and passing along the tools to succeed not only in athletics, but in life.
